I usually dislike shapewear because it can be uncomfortable and very hot in summer. This panty is not. It breathes and comes off easily for bathroom breaks. The tradeoff is that it may not flatten your stomach the way some of the really stiff fabrics do. However, the high waist does a wonderful job of smoothing bulges and lines.
