I loved that the wide band at top did not roll or start slipping down. The tummy compression was what I would call medium control so was still very comfortable all evening. I wondered if the zipper would show but it didn't and made it very easy to put on. I also liked that it had a zipper crotch so it did not need to be removed to use restroom.
