Have tried all kinds of shapers and usually give up on them after a couple uses. Not with this one. It is so, so comfortable, and yet very firming at the same time. I have one of those bellies that always tends to look and feel like a water balloon -- no kind of fabric seems able to tame it -- yet, with this shaper I was able to wear a form-fitting dress without feeling self-conscious about how I looked in it.
